Vastika Dallas Gurkhas FC organized 6th annual Dashain Cup on Sep 23, 2017 in Grapevine, Texas. Sunnyvale Football Force bagged the tittle of 6th Annual Dashain Cup by beating DFW Himalayas FC by 4-0 in the final match. Suraj Thapa from the winning team was declared man of the match in the final game, where as Rizen Shresth from the same team scored the highest goal in the tournament and was declared man of the match in semifinal game. During the prize distribution ceremony Former Nepal International Dev Narayan Chaudhary was recognized by the organizer- Dallas Gurkhas FC. Me. Chaudhary was also the chief guest of the even who handed the cash prizes and trophies to the finalist teams. Mr. Binod Bista Team Manager said that the over all tournament was a great success and express his sincere gratitude to all the sponsors, volunteers, officials, players, medias, and supporters who helped to makes this tournament a grand success. former Nepal International and Nepal’s National soccer coach Mr . Umesh Pradhan and Mr. Dhiren Gurung, former Nepal national table tennis player as well as renown social worker in United States had also joined the ceremony and congratulated the winner team. Dallas Gurkhas’ manager Mr. Bista added that the club will continue its tradition of recognizing national here every year during this annual tournament.
